Scale isn’t a measurement, it’s a ratio. So if your model at 1/32 scale is 2 inches long, the original item is 2*32 or 64 inches long, which is 5 feet 4 inches.
Do the same math for 1/64.
This comes in handy on maps also, where the scale can be 1 inch to 1 mile, 100 miles, or more. You can measure on the map how may inches and then just multiply.
